My career in hospitality began as an overnight bellman at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee while I was studying full-time at #Marquette University, and this past May I celebrated my 16th year with the company. I am grateful for my experience with Hyatt, most of all the people that I’ve met at six different properties in four states. I have worked with many great leaders, and I have enjoyed the opportunity to mentor and develop numerous talented and eager young hospitality professionals. I am looking forward to starting a new chapter in my professional career, as I have accepted the position of opening General Manager at the Drury Plaza Hotel Milwaukee Downtown, which opens summer of 2019. This is a position in a company that I am very excited about, and an opportunity to build my team from the ground up. Drury is a fast growing family-owned company with over 150 properties in the United States. I am thrilled to be opening their first property in my home state of Wisconsin, and I look forward to this new and exciting challenge. Thank you for the opportunity #Drury!

I was honored to graduate this past week from the inaugural Kelso MBA Program through Drury Hotels and am thankful for the company’s commitment to continued leadership growth and development.
