Slated to hit the pre-sale market in China on November 15th, the Hongqi HS6 is positioned as a stylish 5-seater SUV. Its design is nothing short of striking. The HS6 PHEV offers two battery pack options: a 23.9 kWh and a 39.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. These provide CLTC pure electric ranges of 152 km, 250 km, and 235 km. The comprehensive ranges, according to Chinese news outlet Sohu, are 1,580 km, 1,650 km, and 1,460 km.
Inside, the cabin is equally impressive. The layered dashboard features an integrated dual-screen setup, including a central control screen and a co-pilot entertainment screen, along with a digital instrument cluster and a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel. Other notable features include 50 W wireless charging for mobile phones, dual cupholders on the center console, an onboard refrigerator, and a 12-speaker sound system.
Both the front and rear seats offer electric adjustment, ventilation, and heating functions. The co-pilot seat even features a zero-gravity design, complete with a leg rest and a 10-point massage function. The standard trunk capacity is 503 L, with an additional 49 L of hidden space. Folding down the rear seats expands the trunk volume to a generous 1,977 L.
