Singapore has emerged as a model for longevity-oriented healthcare. Facing an aging population and a public increasingly willing to invest in anti-aging interventions, both the government and private enterprises are committing substantial resources to new strategies that slow aging and help people stay healthier for longer.
In this episode, the FT’s Michael Peel travels to the city-state to explore how longevity therapies are becoming mainstream. He talks with venture capitalist Boyang Wang, personal trainer Tiat Lim (sometimes called “Singapore’s Benjamin Button”), and longevity-clinic founder Allen Law. The piece also features insights from Tan Kiat How, Singapore’s senior minister of state for health, and National University of Singapore professor Andrea Maier.
